About

Ariel Bellvalaire

A guitar-shredding, vocally-arresting, unapologetically over-the-top performer, experiencing Ariel Bellvalaire’s music feels like standing close to a scorching flame.

Hailing from the quiet town of Windsor, Connecticut, Ariel took a decidedly unquiet approach when embracing music. At a young age, Ariel began playing the electric guitar, becoming a mean and meticulous player of her favored instrument long before adulthood. As she grew up, she rose through the music ranks to become a nationally recognized guitarist, whose abilities meant she was constantly in demand.

In 2014, Ariel had her Broadway debut in New York City, where she played the guitar on
stage alongside Tony Award winners Lena Hall and Robin Dejesus for the Dearly Beloved: A Concert Tribute show in honor of Prince. A year later, Ariel moved to Los Angeles, where she was booked for lead roles playing guitar in commercials such as GMC. She also landed a role as the face of KIA’s iconic national 2016 campaign, appearing as the electric guitar-playing hamster, before becoming the guitarist in the national commercial for Kentucky Fried Chicken alongside country star Reba McEntire.

After this, Ariel took part in several prominent international tours, including performing as a guitarist for the for the world renowned singer-songwriter Debbie Gibson, Drag The Musical in Los Angeles (featuring many of the contestants on Ru Paul’s Drag Race) along with many others.

However, Ariel has embarked on her most ambitious artistic move in the last few years.
Since 2021, she has been recording and releasing original music, wowing fans with her
guitar-driven songs, backed by her catchy pop melodies and captivating personal charisma.

Her debut single, ‘Elastic,’ took the world by storm due to its iconic music video, which
featured Bellvalaire doing literal aerial-acrobatic stunts while playing guitar. The video was featured in Guitar World Magazine, Hollywood Life, and Guitar Girl Magazine - and it showed thousands of listeners just how compelling a music maker she could be.

Following this success, Ariel became the gift that kept on giving. ‘Elastic’ was followed by the brilliantly self-assertive pop-rock track ‘Diamonds or Coal,’ then the darkly powerful anthem ‘Monsters.’

In early 2024, Ariel finally announced that she was shifting her focus to work on her debut album. Ariel’s first single release, ‘Til The Clock Strikes,’ dropped on March 22 - and it was everything that her growing fanbase had been hoping for. The song was loaded with energy and featured exquisite dance-pop production, a phenomenally catchy chorus, and a signature Ariel Bellvalaire guitar solo thrown in for good measure. Coming alongside the news about her debut album release, ‘Til The Clock Strikes’ felt like more than a song - it felt like Ariel reminding her listeners that she knew exactly what it took to make a verified pop hit.

With her music being described by fans as “Lady Gaga with a hint of Van Halen,” Ariel’s
songs traverse the genres of dance, pop, and rock - all of it stamped with her signature
sound, her inspired guitar solos, and her unabashedly energetic attitude. While still performing her original music, you can also see Ariel Perform as the lead guitarist in Drag The Musical’s New York run at New World Stages.
